Excellent location in a nice part of town, nice big room
Excellent location and an incredible room,
The girl at the recepcion was very kind and helpful. The rooms were really big and beautiful, we enjoyed our staying.
Big comfortable bed, little kitchenette, lots of space, close to a public transport.
the room was wonderful
poor breakfast, reception was close at 8:30 when we leaved and the reception should open from 7:30 till 21:30 !
This is a very nice old hotel, I think for £35 per night excellent value for money. The breakfast rolls were fine, we actually ate them in the evening (as they are left in the afternoon for the next day) and bought some fresh ones for the morning at Tesco Express on the same square where the hotel is. It is only 4 Tram stops from all the attractions, and very clean. The reception staff were very polite, spoke English well and helpful. This is a basic hotel, and you get what you are paying for. My sister and I enjoyed our stay there, the location was good, the beds were comfortable and we would book again. If you want your 3* hotel service this is not the hotel for you. It is nice, clean and comfortable, but not a luxury pad.
The only thing that is a little bit of a let down is that you had to ask for a cooker for the kitchenette but that is only a small thing
The reception is good, and the young lady is kind. Location is not bad.
Facilities are old.
Most sights in walking distance. Breakfast in the room is nothing special, but ok. Perfect place to stay with friends/family/as a couple, not so much to meet other travellers. Highly recommended.
Very good value for the money. Tram and Metro close by. Even a shopping center and many restaurants. Supermarket only 100 meters from the hotel. Large room. In fact we had a living room and a bed room. There is a small kitchen on the room, which was very nice. We would stay there again.
Breakfast is not good, but you can get everything close by The hair dryer on our room didn't work. Although we told them, they didn't swap it.
Quaint building. The room size was a plus and was large. There is a small kitchenette with a few equipment for convenience. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable.
WIFI (especially on the top floor) ranged from poor to no signal. There were other free signals found that I was able to use. Television didn't work (I was only told after the second day and if it was a big deal or not). It wasn't, but it would have been nice to have. Couch was so dirty, I didn't even use it once. It was placed in such an awkward place (dimly lit area) so you probably couldn't see the dirt. On my last day, the untouched bread and ham from my previous days consumption, was just re-wrapped and placed back in the fridge. All in all, I was excited for this place, but was disappointed.
easily accessible from airport using bus 119 & tram 20, tram stops about 150 metres from Arbesovo Namesti where the hotel is situated & costs 26k. Excellent value for money, spacious room with large bed & very helpful & polite staff. The breakfast is adequate & is left in your room so you can utilise the kitchen to prepare it, ( It's a bit more like apartment living). The city centre is easily & quickly reached by tram or on foot & there are many shops in the local area. Would definately stay there again.
Rooms are spacious big and the location is convenient. Good value for money.
There was no hot water so we were offered another room in a different hotel in the same area (Hotel Balkán). The lady at the reception insisted that this other hotel was of the same quality, but the it turned out to be dingy, the room we were given much smaller and there was an annoying noise coming from the heating system.
It was spacious with a nice bathroom and a livingroom. The bed was comfortable. I liked old style building. very close to the river.
The room was big and the receptionists were very friendly.
The breakfast was pathetic. We got almost stale bread every day, 2 juice packages, ham and "cheese" (which were 2 small cream cheese packages). The towels were not changed regularly (they said it is every 2 days that they change towels). Towels that were clearly dirty and were put on the floor to be washed were picked up from the floor the following day and hung back up by the cleaning staff.
Wi-fi costs 2 euro for all staying. Very good prices. Normal location - 7 minutes by feet to undeground railway. Rooms has mini-kitchen! Not a problem to find parking near on the street
